Use the Empathy-Action framework: start with the business context, explain your specific decision or action, quantify the result, and name what you learned. Example answer

I would treat the conflict as a decision problem, not a personality problem. First, I would clarify what each person is optimizing for and how the options affect activation, retention, conversion, revenue, roadmap confidence, and user satisfaction. Then I would put the facts, risks, and open questions in one place so engineering, design, data, sales, support, and executive teams can react to the same information. My goal is to protect the relationship while still getting to a clear decision.

This checks whether the candidate can reason beyond the headline result and explain practical decision-making.

This tests collaboration, communication cadence, and stakeholder management in the real working environment.

This reveals learning ability, maturity, and whether the candidate can improve their own process.
